At NAFIBO, we offer all prospective members 6 different tiers of membership, with one free option. Expand your national network by joining our exclusive online community of dynamic, motivated, and accomplished justice-involved and formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs (and nonprofit founders) from varying backgrounds and fields to enhance your business success. (Membership fees are final. No adjustments or refunds will be honored. Memberships can be cancelled at any time BEFORE the next billing period and can be done in your members portal.

Membership Q & A & Cancellation Policy
Can I join NAFIBO if I have never been arrested or been to jail?
Because we pride ourselves in being intentional in the reason for starting NAFIBO as an exclusive online community for entrepreneurs who are historically and disproportionally locked out of entrepreneurship opportunities and funding because of a felony conviction, NAFIBO membership is limited to entrepreneurs (and nonprofit founders) who have been impacted by a FELONY conviction. Applicants impacted by prior incarceration, whether for 1 day or decades and whether for a misdemeanor or felony, will get priority in membership acceptance However, those who have never been incarcerated but have at least 1 felony conviction are also welcomed as members. Therefore, the minimum requirements for membership is incarceration or at least 1 felony conviction.
How do I enroll as a member?
To enroll as a member, start by submitting your application using the membership application. Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by a member of our staff. If our staff determines that you meet the basic eligibility criteria, one of our membership enrollment coordinators will reach out to you to verify your information and conduct some quick due diligence. Once your application is approved, your membership enrollment coordinator can enroll you in any of the aforementioned members options.
How do I know which tier of membership is right for me?
We have 5 tiers of membership, each suitable for a range of businesses based on your annual revenue from the previous year. For those just starting out or for prospective members who want to get a better idea of what we're all about, we recommend the Bronze membership. For established entrepreneurs (and justice-involved led nonprofits) we highly recommend the Titanium membership as it provides the most benefit and represents the best value.
How long do NAFIBO memberships last? Are they an annual membership or a one-time due?
All NAFIBO memberships carry a 1 year term as defined in the membership tier. One month prior to the expiration your membership you will be sent an email containing information on how to renew.
Can I upgrade or downgrade a plan once I have already purchased a plan?
Yes and no! If you enrolled with a membership but decide that you want to upgrade, you would pay a prorated cost of the difference until the end of your current membership and pay the cost of the new plan at renewal. Because our memberships are nonrefundable, unfortunately, if you pay for a membership, you will not be refunded but you do have the option to down grade your plan at your annual renewal.
Can I cancel a membership and get a refund?
Because our memberships are nonrefundable, unfortunately, if you pay for a membership, you will not be refunded. However, you do have the option to cancel your membership within 7 days of your expected renewal by emailing us at membership@nafibo.com of your wishes to not renew and to cancel your membership.
