Become a NAFIBO Chapter

As a NAFIBO chapter, you will be affiliated with a progressive, professional organization that strives to unite, connect and support justice impacted & formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs & nonprofit founders.

Because NAFIBO is a national association headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, chapters are critical in establishing and maintaining connections with local members by hosting networking events, webinars, professional development workshops and trainings and other events to connect local NAFIBO members and engage with the local community.

As a NAFIBO chapter, your chapter will be affiliated with the resounding impact of the national association, which boasts members throughout the country. The chapter is assigned to a geographical region and has a regional director that represents the chapter's interests. Each chapter has presidents that oversee the managing of each chapter's activities, events and hub (if any).

NAFIBO chapters are eligible to host regional conferences and the bi-annual national convention. Members of NAFIBO chapters are eligible for discounted registration fees at local, regional and national meetings.

 

Lastly, if funding is available, the NAFIBO Chapter Grant supports local chapters in producing programming that will benefit their membership and sustain NAFIBO's goal to provide networking, business support, resources, empowerment, coaching, and business tools to its members to accelerate business development and growth of  justice-involved entrepreneurs in an effort to help us successfully grow our businesses and to strengthen our participation in, and impact on, the economy.
